Can there be any authentic reconciliation without the truth?
‘Be on your guard!
If your brother sins, rebuke him;
and if he repents, forgive him.’
-from Luke 17:3
A conciliatory heart, i am given.
Although i do desire reasonable and just restitution for injuries inflicted,
i harbor no ill will
toward these individuals,
and hope they are given a heart
to right the wrongs done.
The Lord’s bond-servant
must not be quarrelsome,
but be kind to all, skillful in teaching, patient when wronged,
with gentleness correcting
those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to
the knowledge of the truth,
and they may come to their senses and escape from
the snare of the devil,
having been held captive by him
to do his will.
-from 2nd Timothy 2
Brothers, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.’
-Galatians 6:1
My brothers and sisters,
if anyone among you strays
from the truth
and someone turns him back,
let him know that the one who has turned a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.
-James 5:1920
“Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.”
“In the same way, your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.”
-matthew 18:14
On hearing this, Jesus told them,
"It is not the healthy
who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
-Mark 2:7
On hearing this, Jesus told them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." -mark 2:7
“Mistakes are always forgivable,
if one has the courage
to admit them.”
- Bruce Lee
We all make mistakes.
What makes the difference is
what we do afterward.
It is my will that we all be reconciled
with and in the truth; repenting of wrongs done,
resolving our differences in a manner befitting love,
and coming together in the spirit of love and truth;
living in complete harmony with each other,
as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.
(Rom. 15:5,6)
Rest assure, i harbor no ill will toward my assailants, nor any others who have wronged me,
and i am thankful that know one was hurt
as much as i was, or worse.
It is my will that amends be made,
wrongs are righted, lessons are learned,
and that the truth and love of God be glorified.
IF ONE OR BOTH OF THE TWO MEN WHO ATTACKED ME
COMES FORWARD WITH A WRITTEN STATEMENT TO REVAIL THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH, AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH CONCERNING THE VIOLENT EVENTS THAT UNFOLDED ON THE MORNING OF NOVEMBER FIRST; i WILL PLEDGE TO NOT PURSUE AN INTENTIONAL TORT CIVIL CLAIM AGAINST THE INDIVIDUAL(s).
If only one comes forward, then this will deal will apply only to that one. If both come forward, then this deal will apply to both of them. For this to apply to both, they must come forward with their completed and truth-full statements within 24 hours of one another.
Am willing to put this offer in writing to make it legally binding, this offer applies to either one or both of the two who attacked without just cause and absent a single valid reason.
This statement(s) must include, at minimum, the prime pertinent facts and key elements relevant to my being exonerated of the fallacious charges brought against me now; including yet not limited to the following...
1)That, i did nothing to warrant the harassment, nor to prove their violence.
2)That, i was wearing a mask upon exiting the men’s washroom, prior to being approached.
3)That VanDyke introduced himself as a “flooring contractor”.
4)That, both men were failing to maintain a safe distance as per State mandates.
5)Vandyke was wearing mask below nose, while within 18” of my face.
6)That, ’Bear’ attacked me when i called out for ‘Aaron’, followed near immediately by VanDyke, barreling my body backward through the closed doors.
7)That, i was standing still when i called out for ‘Aaron’, and at the moment of their subsequent attack barely a moment later.
8)That, while on the outside bench i was crying out about my knee, and pleading with them to get off of me.
9)That, one or both of them belittled my pain and mocked my cries while continuing to bear down on me as i lay crumpled cockeyed upon the bench.
10)That, it was not until after this exhibition of violence and cruelty when i issued a verbal warning declaring that “i am about to defend myself”
11)That, it was then that i pushed my way up off the bench, attempting to step to my right, away from them, and toward the parking lot.
12)That, there were no “stabbing motions” (pertains to ‘Bear’)
13)That, Vandyke put me in an asphyxiating choke hold AFTER i was already on my chest, and after i was already struggling to breath beneath weight and force of three men, telling them as much.
14)That, after Mike Johnson hit me in the ribs a few times, he then grabbed my hair at the back of my head and hit my face on the ground THREE TIMES.
